The high desert of Panguitch and the surrounding region is both dramatic and nuanced, filled with jaw-dropping colors that shift throughout the day and textures that tell a story of time, weather, and place. From warm sandstone tones and sunbaked earth to rugged rock formations and soft desert vegetation, every element offers inspiration. We were drawn to the juxtaposition of colors and patterns that occur in nature that are both bold and calming, and wanted to capture that same balance within the space.
Ultimately, our goal was to create an environment that not only reflects the beauty of the high Utah desert but also evokes the same sense of awe and tranquility you feel when experiencing it firsthand. We knew most of our guests would be traveling here to find adventure, and we wanted to create a relaxing and comfortable place for them to rest and reflect after a long day in the beautiful landscapes that we love so much. The result is a space that feels authentic, immersive, and deeply rooted in the landscape that inspired it.
