What We Were Working With
Our goal for this client was to transform a dull, cramped, and poorly functioning builder-grade kitchen into an airy, luxurious, and highly functional masterpiece. The original layout presented significant challenges including a peninsula that disrupted the connection to the living area, and the refrigerator which obstructed a primary walkway to the backyard. To unlock the space’s full potential, we reimagined the layout, creating a dramatic improvement in both flow and usability.
From there, we designed a kitchen that feels clean, cohesive, and elevated. We designed the entire kitchen around the marble that we selected for the island countertop, pulling the soft pastel tones into the surrounding finishes and even in the artwork selection. The dated cabinetry was replaced with soft, neutral-toned shaker cabinets that instantly brighten the room and establish a timeless foundation. Sleek brass hardware introduces warmth and a refined, modern touch, while a light, reflective backsplash enhances the sense of openness and airiness.
These thoughtfully selected finishes extend seamlessly into the living room, creating a harmonious flow between spaces. The result is a warm, inviting environment perfectly suited for gathering, connecting, and enjoying everyday moments as a family.
